Baramulla police officials on Thursday announced the seizure of assets worth around Rs 15 million belonging to a drug dealer in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.
Drug dealer Afroza Begum lives in Trumgund Hygam Sopore
“As part of our ongoing efforts against drug dealers, Baramulla police have seized the properties of drug dealer Afroza Begum. The house worth around Rs 15 lakh, alias Affri, is the wife of Ganie Hamam resident Fayaz Ahmad Dar and is currently living in Trumgund Hygam Sopore in Baramulla district,” Baramulla police said.
This order was executed under the conditions of various departments applies. Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPSPS).

In a related development, Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday seized assets worth around Rs 60 million belonging to another drug dealer in Baramulla district. Those seized were Mohd Ayoob Shah and Ghulam, residents of Ladoora Rafiabad area in Baramulla district. Mohammad Shah alias Gulshah.
According to Baramulla police, the adjoining properties include a single-storey house and a two-storey shop house with two separate bathrooms.
