Rahul Gandhi To Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain for Prayer Today

Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi will visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on Tuesday to offer prayers as part of the 52nd day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Congress Communications General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said Ujjain is important as it is a part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Rahul Gandhi had previously visited Mahakaleshwar Temple on November 29, 2022.

Rahul Gandhi, who continues his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, continued his journey in Binaganj district of Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district on Monday. He was joined by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh to greet the crowd during the presentation. Speaking at a public protest at Shivpuri Madhav Chowk, Rahul Gandhi criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Center and expressed concern over the decline of youth in civil, military and government jobs.

He pointed out that besides job opportunities, routes such as BHEL, HAL and Army have also become tighter. Rahul Gandhi talked about the impact of injustice on racism and emphasized the importance of ‘Nyay’ (justice) in ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. The Yatra, covering 15 states with a length of 6,700 km, entered Madhya Pradesh on March 2 and is expected to continue until March 6. Going by the Lok Sabha elections held from April to May, Congress Party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is a part of the party’s national campaign.
