Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma made a compassionate visit to a rape survivor receiving treatment at the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. The survivor had been admitted following a harrowing assault in the Kotputli-Behror district earlier.

During his hospital visit, the Chief Minister personally inquired about the well-being of the rape survivor. The 25-year-old victim sustained severe injuries after being attacked by three individuals in the Kotputli-Behror district of Rajasthan on Saturday.

The distressing incident unfolded as the woman was returning home with her brother on a two-wheeler, only to be ambushed and assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon. Additionally, she was shot at by the assailants near the Pragpura police station in Kotputli-Behror.

Swiftly after the attack, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Later, she was transferred to another hospital in Jaipur to undergo further treatment. Reports reveal that the woman had previously filed a rape case against one of the accused, leading to his imprisonment. However, upon securing bail, the accused allegedly began pressuring her to withdraw the case, compelling the woman to seek police protection.
