A child fell into a borewell in Delhi’s Keshopur area on Sunday, as reported by an official. The incident occurred at a borewell approximately 40-50 feet deep within the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) plant in the Keshopur Mandi area. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and Delhi Police teams were present at the scene, leading the rescue operation.
Upon receiving information about the incident, five fire tenders were dispatched to the location. The NDRF rescue team, headed by Inspector-in-Charge Veer Pratap Singh, is on-site and preparing to conduct a rescue operation by digging a parallel borewell to reach the child. Singh mentioned that it might be a lengthy operation.
