Tripura’s Chief Minister, Manik Saha, Inaugurates Aastha Special Train Bound For Ayodhya

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for arranging a special train to facilitate transportation of Tripura people to Ayodhya. Recently, the third route, Aastha special train from Tripura, started operating.

CM Saha, while supervising the departure of Aastha Special Train from Agartala Railway Station, expressed his gratitude and chatted with the passengers on board. He emphasized the importance of these journeys for the darshan of Lord Ram’s devotees in Ayodhya.

In the previous departure, CM Manik Saha said that three trains went from Tripura to Ayodhya. He expressed hope for the safety and happiness of pilgrims and recalled the historic inauguration of Ram Temple by Prime Minister Modi, a much-awaited landmark for a century.

CM Saha appreciated the recent visit of around 400 Tripura devotees regarding the visit of political leaders to Ayodhya in March. Thanking Prime Minister Modi for his efforts in arranging the special train, Saha added that the pilgrims were happy to go to Ayodhya for the Ram Lala darshan. He also asked them to pray for the health of Tripura and its people during the journey.

BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya and MPs Kishore Barman and Tofajjal Hossain attended the event. Earlier, CM Manik Saha started another route to Ayodhya by boarding special train 00727-Astha from Agartala railway station.

Indian Railways has started operating more than 200 Aastha special trains to Ayodhya from cities and towns across India to facilitate the pilgrimage of devotees.

Visit the new Ram Mandir. Each Aastha train has 20 sleeper coaches and can accommodate around 1,400 passengers. Following the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, many devotees visited the temple for pilgrimage.
