New features

The OnePlus Open Apex Edition is offered in a new Crimson Shadow color, inspired by the Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition camera. According to the company, the design incorporates subtle hues of materials like leather, giving the foldable smartphone a premium feel. It also features orange accents on the Alert Slider, adding to its distinctive appearance.

In addition to these aesthetic upgrades, the Apex Edition includes 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and a dedicated security chip. This model also introduces ‘VIP’ mode, a first for OnePlus, which can be activated via the redesigned alert slider. When enabled, the phone enters a privacy mode powered by an independent security chip, automatically disabling all cameras and microphones and physically isolating storage to prevent unauthorized access to the data on the device.
