As 2024 draws to a close, the tech world is gearing up for the exciting future of Artificial Intelligence and smartphones. Among the most anticipated launches for 2025 is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is expected to take the smartphone market by storm. Competing against flagship models like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, the Galaxy S25 Ultra promises to deliver top-tier performance, design, and camera innovations.
The sleek and curved design with flat paneling at the front and back has just been rendered recently as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It will give the smartphone a similar look in comparison to the predecessor but will be thinner at just 8.4 mm which would significantly reduce its thickness. This display will also be slightly bigger than the one at 6.9 inches because of its change from the previous 6.8 inches. It will be equipped with an M13 OLED display, which usually brings costs down while providing excellent quality. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available in four colors: titanium, black, blue, and green.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, under the hood, powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, is destined to make a huge difference in performance. The device was seen scoring 2481 in single-core tests and 8658 in multi-core tests. This is an indicator that it can pack some serious heat. The device will also see an upgrade in RAM from 12GB to 16GB and will support UFS 4.1 storage which means faster read/write speeds.
Running on OneUI 7 based on Android 17, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will incorporate several new features, design changes, and Galaxy AI enhancements. The battery is expected to remain the same at 5000mAh, but with the new chipset, battery life could see improvements.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra camera system will continue Samsung’s legacy of exceptional camera systems with an upgraded ultrawide 50MP camera comparing with previous 12MP model. The 200MP main camera will offer greatly improved details and will be offereing an additional 100MP Space Zoom, which will provide the optimum zooming capabilities. Along with that, a 50MP telephoto lens with variable zoom will be there for added flexibility for all the focal lengths and making high-quality shots across the board.
The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be officially unveiled in January 2025 or early February 2025. As for the pricing, Samsung recently raised the price of the Galaxy S24 Ultra by $100, and rumors suggest a potential price increase for the S25 Ultra. However, details about the exact price remain unclear for now.
