Chinese tech giant Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V40e in India, expanding its V40 series that already includes the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro. This mid-range smartphone is equipped with powerful specifications designed to enhance user experience.
The Vivo V40e is competitively priced at Rs. 28,999 for the base model featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. A higher variant with 256GB of storage is available for Rs. 30,999. Customers can choose from two stylish color options: Mint Green and Royal Bronze. Pre-orders for the smartphone are now open on Flipkart and Vivo’s official website, with sales set to begin on October 2. Special offers include no-cost EMI plans for up to six months and a 10% discount for purchases made using HDFC and SBI cards. Additionally, online customers can benefit from an exchange bonus.
The Vivo V40e boasts a sleek 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display, delivering an immersive visual experience with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and SGS-certified low blue light emission. A standout feature of this device is its Wet Touch capability, allowing the screen to remain responsive even when wet.
At its core, the V40e is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The smartphone operates on Vivo’s custom FuntouchOS 14, which is based on the latest Android 14 operating system.
For photography enthusiasts, the V40e features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. An Aura Light enhances low-light photography, while the front camera includes a 50MP sensor capable of recording 4K video. Advanced AI features like the AI Eraser and AI Photo Enhancer facilitate effortless photo editing.
To ensure all-day usage, the Vivo V40e is equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W flash charging technology. Connectivity options include dual 5G support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. For added security, the smartphone features an in-display fingerprint sensor, enhancing user convenience and data protection.
