In anticipation of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for a crucial gathering of the core group committee representing eight states, scheduled to convene at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday evening, according to sources. The session will be presided over by BJP President JP Nadda. One of the main agenda items will be the deliberation on candidate selection for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as confirmed by a source. The meeting will see the participation of Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, BL Santosh, state officials, chief ministers, and others. Sources indicate the attendance of Chief Ministers and party officials from Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Assam, and three other states at today’s meeting. Previously, the Bharatiya Janata Party convened a core group meeting involving five states last Saturday at the party headquarters in New Delhi. This meeting was arranged in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Chaired by BJP National President JP Nadda and attended by Home Minister Amit Shah and Organization General Secretary BL Santosh, the session was conducted in stages. Discussions revolved around the preparations for Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
