Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, anticipating that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would secure over 400 seats.
Speaking to ANI, the Chief Minister affirmed the BJP’s victory in the four seats of the Malda division, citing enthusiastic responses from officials and the public, particularly in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his visit to Malda, CM Saha witnessed widespread faith in PM Modi and the BJP among the locals. He addressed various programs, including the Ghar Chalo Abhiyan and Wall painting, where he reiterated his optimism about the BJP’s success in the region.
At the Booth President Sammelan in Malda, CM Saha emphasized the importance of grassroots awareness for PM Modi’s initiatives and criticized the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal for perpetrating violence, drawing parallels with the CPIM’s rule in Tripura.

He urged citizens to engage at the grassroots level to convey the positive impact of PM Modi’s initiatives and reiterated the need for real development over political violence.
