Vivo has just announced its latest addition to the smartphone market with the launch of the Vivo Y03 in Indonesia on March 12. The successor to the Vivo Y02, which made its debut in India back in December 2022, promises several upgrades and enhancements. While the company has yet to confirm its availability in India, the Vivo Y03 is already making waves with its impressive features and specifications.

The Vivo Y03 is available in two RAM and storage configurations as well as two color options: Gem Green and Space Black. Priced at IDR 1,299,000 (approximately Rs. 6,900) for the 4GB + 64GB variant and IDR 1,499,000 (approximately Rs. 8,000) for the 4GB + 128GB option, the phone is currently up for grabs via the official Vivo e-store in Indonesia.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo Y03 boasts a 6.56-inch LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, paired with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, expandable up to 4GB. The device offers up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage and runs on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14.

For photography enthusiasts, the Vivo Y03 features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA camera, complemented by an LED flash unit. On the front, there’s a waterdrop notch housing a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

One of the highlights of the Vivo Y03 is its robust 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. Additionally, the device comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It weighs 185g and measures 163.78mm x 75.73mm x 8.39mm in dimensions.

While the Vivo Y03 brings significant improvements over its predecessor, its availability beyond Indonesia remains uncertain, leaving fans eagerly awaiting confirmation of its launch in other markets.
