In a tragic incident in Bhajanpura, an Amazon senior manager was fatally shot, and his friend was also injured in the attack. The event unfolded on Street Number 8/4 in Bhajanpura during the late hours, around 11:30 PM, when the Amazon manager was riding his bike.
The deceased has been identified as Harpreet Gill, aged 36, residing at Street Number 1, Bhajanpura. Harpreet held a senior managerial position at Amazon. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head, which proved fatal. The injured individual has been identified as Govind Singh, the owner of a momo shop called “Hungry Bird.”
According to the police, Harpreet and Govind were on their Splendor bike with registration number DL5S AT 2295, near Street Number 8, when a group of five young men on a scooter and a bike intercepted them. The assailants abruptly fired shots at Harpreet without any prior confrontation and fled the scene.
Police are reviewing the CCTV footage from the area and are working to identify the perpetrators behind the shooting. The motive behind the shooting is being investigated, and a case of murder has been registered.
