Amit Shah Accuses Congress Party & Gandhi Family as ‘Rahu-Ketu’ of India

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress party and the Gandhi family during a public rally in Pali, setting the stage for the upcoming assembly polls in Rajasthan. Shah accused the Congress and the Gandhi family of being the “Rahu and Ketu of India,” blaming them for various challenges facing the nation.

Addressing a spirited crowd, Shah predicted a shift in leadership, stating, “Congress is leaving on December 3, and the BJP is coming. Congress party and the Gandhi family are Rahu and Ketu of India. All the troubles that have arisen in the future of India have happened only because of the Gandhi family and Congress.”

Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievements, citing diplomatic successes, economic growth, and infrastructure development. He highlighted the promise to increase the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000, the purchase of millet at MSP, and the provision of gas cylinders for Rs 450.

In Nasirabad, Shah criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent focus on OBC communities. He accused the Gandhi family of hindering OBC development across generations, emphasizing the BJP’s role in making the National Commission for Backward Classes a constitutional body.

Turning his attention to the Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government, Shah expressed astonishment at the alleged corruption within the administration. “Rs 2.5 crore cash was found inside the secretariat, and a significant amount of gold was also recovered. I have never witnessed such a corrupt government in my life,” Shah declared. He promised a thorough investigation if the BJP comes to power.

In Neem ka Thana, Shah criticized Congress for its focus on dynastic politics and claimed that only PM Modi could uplift Rajasthan from corruption and atrocities. He addressed the paper leak issue, promising employment for 2.5 lakh youths without any irregularities.

Shah also touched upon the financial contributions to Rajasthan, comparing the Sonia-Manmohan government’s Rs 2 lakh crore over ten years to Modi’s Rs 6.7 lakh crore in nine years. He pledged further support for farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi and comprehensive medical coverage up to Rs 10 lakh.

Rajasthan is gearing up for assembly polls on November 25, with votes to be counted on December 3. The BJP aims to challenge the Congress party’s current dominance in the state assembly, with 199 out of 200 assembly seats contested due to the adjournment of elections in the Karanpur constituency following the passing of the Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar in 2018.
