A recent dispute in the Ghaziabad district led to the arrest of an individual after two groups clashed over a money transaction, according to a statement by a police official. The arrested individual has been identified as Afzal, as confirmed by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Swatantra Singh.

The ACP explained that the police received information at Khoda police station regarding a dispute that had erupted between two individuals within the jurisdiction of Khoda Village Police Station. Upon reaching the scene, the police discovered that the initial quarrel between the two individuals had escalated due to a financial transaction.

“Afzal had lent money to an individual named Dilawar, which subsequently led to an argument between them. As the altercation escalated, more individuals from both sides joined the fray, resulting in physical confrontations,” stated the ACP.

During the altercation, some individuals from Afzal’s group resorted to pelting stones at a vehicle belonging to Dilawar’s group, resulting in damage to the vehicle’s windows. Law enforcement officers arrived promptly at the scene and took Afzal into custody. A case has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing, according to the ACP.
