After inaugurating India’s longest sea bridge ‘Atal Setu’ in Mumbai, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted its significance as a symbol of a developed India, representing facilities, prosperity, speed, and progress. He emphasized that the bridge offers a glimpse into the future of a developed India, connecting every corner of the country and ensuring uninterrupted life and livelihood. PM Modi also mentioned other mega projects in Maharashtra, including the upcoming Bullet train for Mumbai. He expressed a clean intention for development and took a dig at the Congress, suggesting their focus was on personal gain and power. Atal Setu, costing over Rs 17,840 crore, is a 21.8 km long, 6-lane bridge providing faster connectivity and improving infrastructure in the region. PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects and flagged off the inaugural EMU train from Uran to Kharkopar. ”In developed India, distances will be reduced and every corner of the country will be connected. Be it life or livelihood, everything will go on continuously, without interruption. This is the message of Atal Setu,” he said.
Last year, Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg was inaugurated. Work is going on at a fast pace on the Navi Mumbai airport project. In the coming years, Mumbai will get its first bullet train, PM said. They were only dedicated to the development of their families and this is why they were never able to think about Viksit Bharat,” PM Modi said.
