Ayodhya Prepares for Grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Ceremony with World’s Longest Solar Light Line

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Ayodhya administration is embarking on the installation of the world’s longest solar light line, a significant development leading up to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. Having completed the stretch from Guptar Ghat to Jhunki Ghat, the administration is now extending the installation further to Nayaghat, connecting several previously segmented ghats. This initiative aligns with preparations for the Lord Ram Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled in Ayodhya, prompting the Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, to kickstart a mega cleanliness campaign from Makar Sankranti in Ayodhya.

In an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), it was stated, “Following this, an extensive cleanliness campaign will be carried out in every village, city, and locality of the state. The responsibility for this has been entrusted to the Urban Development and Panchayati Raj Departments.”

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22 will be presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attracting significant global attention. Several VVIP guests from India and abroad have received invitations to attend the ceremony. Notably, Congress leaders, including national president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president Sonia Gandhi, and the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, declined the invitation, labeling it as an event of the BJP and the RSS.

The Vedic rituals for the ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya are scheduled to commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will perform the main rituals on January 22. Ayodhya will observe the Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to January 22. As part of the celebrations, a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will be organized, feeding thousands of devotees. Tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate the expected influx of devotees for the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.

According to the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are gearing up for the surge in visitors, implementing enhanced security measures and making logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees.
