Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering congratulates India for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. PM Tshering says that the mission displays the nation’s vision and commitment to science.

PM Tshering tweets, “I rejoice with ISRO and PM Narendra Modi for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. Displays your vision and commitment to science and learning beyond the horizon.”

“May India and humanity benefit immensely from this mission,” he added.

Responding to the Bhutanese PM’s tweet, congratulating India on the launch of its third lunar mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Thank you, Excellency, for your warm words. Indeed, the success of Chandrayaan augurs well for the entire humanity.”

Earlier, PM Modi expressed his congratulations to the ISRO scientists for putting Chandrayaan-3 into orbit and writing “a new chapter in India’s space odyssey”.

At the appointed launch time, Chandrayaan-3 successfully took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
The spacecraft’s anticipated time of travel to the moon is one month, and the expected landing date is August 23.
It will run for one lunar day after arrival, which is equivalent to 14 days on Earth. 14 days on Earth are equivalent to one day on the Moon.
