BONE-CHILLING COLD SCARES DELHI

Delhi wakes up to excruciating cold on Sunday morning. A dense layer of fog made the roads hazy making it extremely strenuous for the public to make their way through their desired locations.

Delhi’s temperature recorded at 3.9°C, a slight improvement from yesterday which was at 3.6°C.

The minimum temperature in the RK Puram area was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius.
Homeless took refuge at night shelters which provided people a cover above their heads to fight unwavering weather conditions in the national capital. Meanwhile, IMD issues alert amid the bone-chilling cold.

IMD posts from its X handle ‘Very dense fog layer over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Passengers on highways need to drive extremely carefully and only with fog lights
