BSF recovers Pak drone in Punjab’s Tarn Taran

In collaboration with Punjab Police, the Border Security Force (BSF) located a drone manufactured in China in a field close to Mari Kamboke village in the Tarn Taran district.
According to the BSF, the drone that was found is a quadcopter (Model: DJI Mavic 3 classic, manufactured in China).

In response to specific information from the BSF about the existence of a drone, the Punjab Police and the BSF jointly conducted a joint search operation on the outskirts of the village of Mari Kamboke in the district of Tarn Taran. Furthermore, a damaged Pakistan-based drone (a quadcopter) was discovered laying in the field at approximately 1830 hours on Tuesday during the search operation, according to a BSF release.

“The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model – DJI Mavic 3 classic, made in China),” it stated.
Four packets of a drug that was thought to be heroin were found by the BSF earlier on Tuesday from a farmhouse in the Fazilka district.
“On December 26, morning, based on specific information from the BSF, regarding the presence of a black bag in the Dhuriya farmhouse on the outskirts of Jodhawala village, Fazilka district, an operation was planned,” according to a press release issued by the BSF.

Four packets containing drugs that were allegedly dropped by a drone were found by the BSF.
“The BSF party recovered four packets suspected to be heroin having a gross weight of 2.090 kg from the black colour bag, attached with illuminated strips, which indicate that these packets might be dropped using a drone,” according to the BSF.
