Pakistan’s Unprovoked Firing Sparks Strong BSF Response in Arnia, RS Pura Sectors

In a tit-for-tat response, the Border Security Force (BSF) reacted strongly to unprovoked firing initiated by Pakistani forces in Jammu’s Arnia and RS Pura sectors, delivering substantial blows to enemy posts and infrastructure supporting terrorist activities.

High-ranking sources within the security forces revealed that the issue began a few days ago when Pakistani troops fired upon a BSF soldier who was engaged in fence repair work near the international border in the area. The BSF soldier sustained a gunshot wound to the jaw and is currently under medical treatment.

Following the initial incident, BSF outposts retaliated by targeting Pakistani posts. Two days ago, Pakistani forces once again attempted to engage our troops near the border fence in the same sector. This resurgence of hostilities underscores the ongoing tensions along the international border.

During this recent escalation, BSF leadership authorized their ground troops to respond decisively to the provocative actions of Pakistani forces, which were evidently aimed at supporting infiltrating terrorists.

In response to the Pakistani attack on a BSF post that left a soldier injured two days ago, BSF forces unleashed heavy retaliatory fire, resulting in significant damage to Pakistani posts and watchtowers. Several Pakistan Rangers troops sustained substantial casualties. The troops and their commanders have been explicitly instructed to respond firmly to any act of provocation by Pakistani forces. The intensity of the BSF’s response was so considerable that ambulances were observed operating along the border into the night, transporting the injured to medical facilities.

To counter any potential infiltration, the BSF has proactively enhanced its presence in the border areas. Additionally, the Pakistani troops have not only engaged Indian forces in ceasefire violations for over two years but have also targeted civilian areas in the vicinity
