BSF shoots down Pakistani drone carrying narcotics in Amritsar

The Border Security Force (BSF) shot down a Pakistani drone carrying narcotics along the International Border near Rai village in Amritsar, Punjab, on Saturday. The drone was carrying two packets of suspected heroin, each weighing around 1 kilogram. The BSF also recovered a drone camera and a remote control from the spot.

This is the third time in a week that the BSF has shot down a Pakistani drone carrying narcotics. On June 6, the BSF shot down a drone carrying two packets of suspected heroin in the same area. On June 7, the BSF shot down a drone carrying two packets of suspected heroin and one packet of suspected cocaine in the Fazilka sector of Punjab.

The BSF has intensified its anti-drone operations along the India-Pakistan border in recent months. The force has also deployed anti-drone guns and radars to detect and shoot down drones carrying contraband.

The use of drones by Pakistan to smuggle narcotics into India is a growing problem. The drones are small and difficult to detect, and they can fly long distances. This makes it difficult for the BSF to stop the smuggling of narcotics through drones.

The BSF has urged the government to take steps to stop the use of drones by Pakistan to smuggle narcotics into India. The force has also said that it needs more advanced technology to detect and shoot down drones.

The use of drones by Pakistan to smuggle narcotics into India is a serious threat to the security of the country. The government needs to take steps to stop this practice and ensure the safety of the people of India.

The BSF has said that it is committed to stopping the smuggling of narcotics through drones. The force has also said that it will continue to intensify its anti-drone operations along India-Pakistan.
