The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification debunking a false circular circulating on social media, falsely claiming the postponement of the board exams for the year 2024. The misleading circular, attributing the alleged postponement to the ongoing farmers’ protest, has been deemed fake by the CBSE.
In response to the fraudulent circular, the CBSE cautioned the public to be vigilant and alerted them to the misinformation being spread. The board unequivocally stated that no decision had been made regarding the postponement of board exams and urged individuals to disregard the false claims.
“Beware! The following letter under circulation is FAKE and misleading. The board has not taken any such decision,” affirmed the CBSE, emphasizing the need to verify information before sharing it further.
The fraudulent notice falsely asserted that the CBSE had postponed the exams citing difficulties faced by students due to the farmers’ protest. However, the CBSE clarified that no such decision had been made, emphasizing the importance of relying on authentic sources for accurate information.
