Check Out Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s New Snapdragon 8 Feature and Other Details

Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China, expanding its 14 series lineup alongside the previously introduced Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models from October 2023. The global launch of the Xiaomi 14 series is set for February 25, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, like its siblings, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and runs on the new HyperOS user interface. It comes in three RAM and storage configurations, as well as three color options.

Price and Variants The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is available in black, blue, and white color options. The base 12GB + 256GB variant starts at CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 74,800), while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB models are priced at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 80,600) and CNY 7,799 (approximately Rs. 89,800), respectively. Additionally, there’s a Titanium Special Edition priced at CNY 8,799 (approximately Rs. 1,01,300) for the 16GB + 1TB configuration.

Specifications and Features The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display with a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The display is protected by Shield Glass, known for its durability. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. It runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts a quad rear camera setup housed in a large, centered, slightly raised, circular module. The setup includes a 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT900 primary sensor with OIS, two 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors (3.2x optical and 5x optical zoom) with 75mm and 120mm focal lengths, respectively, and a 50MP sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera.

The phone is backed by a 5,300mAh battery with support for 90W wired, 80W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It supports 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, and USB Type-C. Security features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and it also has an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Titanium Special Edition variant also offers two-way satellite communication support.

Weighing around 224.4g, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra measures 161.4mm x 75.3mm x 9.2mm for the black and white variants, while the blue and titanium options have similar dimensions but weigh slightly more at 229.5g and 229.6g, respectively.
