Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav took immediate action in response to the tragic road accident in Guna district, which claimed 13 lives and left 17 injured. During his visit to the Guna district hospital on Thursday, CM Yadav ordered the suspension of the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) for failing to conduct vehicle checks and the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) for the delayed response in sending the fire brigade to the accident spot. Yadav expressed condolences to the victims and promised strict action against those responsible. The accident occurred when a passenger bus collided with a dumper truck and caught fire on the Guna-Aron road on Wednesday night. The injured are receiving treatment, and authorities are searching for those missing. Yadav also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured. A case has been registered against the bus driver and operator. Additionally, Yadav ordered a probe into the incident, forming a four-member investigation committee that will submit its report in three days.
