CBSE has issued a cautionary notice regarding the proliferation of rumors and false information concerning the upcoming examinations. The Board emphasized its robust arrangements to ensure the smooth and equitable conduct of the exams.

During previous exam periods, certain unethical individuals have been observed spreading rumors via platforms like YouTube, Facebook, X, Telegram, and other social media channels, alleging paper leaks and claiming access to question papers. Additionally, they circulate fake links to purported sample papers, falsely asserting that exam questions will be based on them.

Furthermore, these individuals disseminate fabricated images/videos of question papers, falsely claiming access in exchange for monetary compensation. CBSE highlighted that such actions are intended to exploit vulnerable students and parents financially, causing confusion and panic among the affected parties.

Regarding the 2022 Class XII examinations, it was noted that girls once again outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 90%. Out of the 17 lakh students who appeared for the Class 12 board exams, more than 90% of female candidates passed. Similarly, in the Class X exams of 2022, the overall pass percentage was 93.12%, with girls achieving a pass percentage of 94.25% and boys at 92.27%.

CBSE advice “Due to the prevailing situation in Delhi it is expected that there will be traffic-related problems which may cause delay in reaching the examination centre,” the CBSE advisory stated. The CBSE has advised the students to use the Delhi Metro for commuting to the examination halls as the metro services are running without disruptions.
