In Karnataka’s Yadgir district, an FIR has been lodged against an individual named Mohammad Rasool for issuing death threats directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Rasool allegedly posted a video on Facebook containing offensive language towards PM Modi, accompanied by threats to harm him and Yogi Adityanath.
Residing in Surpur within the Yadgir district, the accused previously worked as a labourer in Hyderabad before relocating and settling there.
Following a complaint lodged by a local resident, the Surpur police have filed a case against Mohammad Rasool under sections 505(1)(b) and 25(1)(b) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as the Arms Act.
Authorities have commenced a search for the accused across multiple locations, including Hyderabad.
