In the national capital, a 29-year-old man identified as Gaurav Singhal was stabbed to death, as reported by the cops on Thursday, March 7. The Tigri police station received a PCR call around 12:30 AM regarding a murder at Raju Park, Devli Extension. Swiftly responding, the police found that the victim had been assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon.
Family members quickly took the injured Gaurav Singhal to Max Hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead by doctors, as confirmed by the police. The body of the deceased was subsequently moved to the AIIMS mortuary for post-mortem procedures.
Adding to the tragedy, the police disclosed that the victim, who was a gym trainer, was murdered just a day before his scheduled wedding. The specific cause of the conflict remains unknown at the current stage, with further details expected to emerge as the investigation advances.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, March 6, a 23-year-old man named Ashish was stabbed in the abdomen in New Delhi, according to police reports. A PCR call around 1 AM alerted the police station in Malviya Nagar about the incident.
Upon reaching the scene, the police found that a wedding procession from Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district was involved, including dholwalas from Begumpur, Malviya Nagar. Altercations during the dance led to one of the dholwalas stabbing a person in the abdomen.
