Get a Peek at Nothing Phone 2a Design Before March 5 Launch – What’s the Buzz?

The eagerly anticipated Nothing Phone 2a is set to make its debut in India on March 5, with the UK-based OEM revealing the smartphone’s design in a recent video. The phone is expected to be an upgraded version of the Nothing Phone 1, offering toned-down features compared to the flagship Phone 2 while maintaining affordability.

The design, showcased in a single white colorway, features a transparent rear panel, a signature of Nothing’s smartphones. The dual rear camera unit is horizontally positioned within a pill-shaped module at the top center, surrounded by LED modules forming Nothing’s Glyph Interface. Circular arcs house two of these units, while another is placed vertically on the right side of the back panel.

Nothing has confirmed that the Phone 2a will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, offering 5G support. The phone is expected to come with 12GB of RAM, complemented by an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. CEO Carl Pei has affirmed that units sold in India will be manufactured in the country.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Nothing Phone 2a will be available in black and white color options, priced at around Rs. 30,000 in India. The device is anticipated to run on Android 14-based NothingOS 2.5 and feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz full-HD+ OLED display. The camera setup is rumored to include two 50-megapixel rear cameras and a 32-megapixel front camera. Additionally, leaks have hinted at a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. As the launch date approaches, tech enthusiasts eagerly await further details about the phone’s specifications and features.
