Google’s teams are working diligently to address these issues, with significant improvements already observed across various prompts. Pichai assured employees that the company would thoroughly review the situation and implement scalable solutions to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Despite the setback, Google remains committed to advancing its AI technology. The company plans to relaunch Gemini AI in the coming weeks, incorporating the necessary improvements to enhance its performance and accuracy.

The race to develop advanced AI software has intensified since the launch of Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Google introduced its own generative AI chatbot, initially named Bard and later rebranded as Gemini. The recent rollout of paid subscription plans for Gemini reflects Google’s ongoing efforts to improve the capabilities of its AI model.

Additionally, Google has entered into a significant agreement with social media platform Reddit to utilize its content for training AI models. This partnership, valued at approximately $60 million per year, underscores Reddit’s strategy to diversify its revenue streams and capitalize on its vast content repository.

As Google continues to address challenges with its AI technology, the company remains focused on delivering innovative solutions and maintaining its position at the forefront of artificial intelligence development.
