Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar will inaugurate multiple projects totaling Rs 4200 crore today

The inauguration of an irrigation scheme in Charkhi Dadri, amounting to Rs 112 crore, and the laying of the foundation stone for Fatehabad Jail, estimated at Rs 100 crore, along with the Transport Bhawan in Panchkula, projected at Rs 87 crore, are also on the agenda.

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar will inaugurate multiple projects totaling Rs 4200 crore today

On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is set to inaugurate a range of projects totaling Rs 4200 crore, encompassing developmental initiatives worth Rs 3600 crore and the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) valued at Rs 600 crore.

He will inaugurate 392 projects valued at Rs 938 crore across 22 districts and lay the foundation stone for 679 projects worth Rs 2684 crore spanning all districts.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister will introduce the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) and lay the foundation stone for the PWD’s project on the Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Vadodara Expressway Ballabhgarh Mohana Road in Faridabad, valued at Rs 214 crore.

Other significant projects include the construction of a flyover from Khalsa Chowk to Haryana Nursing Home in Karnal, budgeted at Rs 127 crore, and an irrigation scheme in Mahendragarh, costing Rs 114 crore, which will also be inaugurated.

Additionally, during the ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’ in Karnal on March 6, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced an ambitious plan focused on empowering women through technology and economic opportunities. He emphasized a goal to elevate 258,000 women to ‘Lakhpati Didis,’ with 50,000 achieving a monthly income of one lakh rupees. A dedicated fund of Rs 200 crore has been earmarked for this initiative. Furthermore, the government aims to establish a thousand interest-free stores, with women given priority, to economically empower their families.

“In Haryana, nearly 55,000 self-help groups have been formed, and over 6 lakh daughters are associated with them. We aspire to witness our sisters and daughters reaching new heights,” Khattar stated during the ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’ in Karnal.
