Actor-turned-politician Hema Malini, contesting on the BJP ticket from Mathura in the upcoming seven-phased Lok Sabha elections, joined in Holi celebrations with party workers in Vrindavan. Radiant and immersed in the festive spirit, she greeted everyone for Holi and even sang her famous song ‘Holi Ke Din’ from ‘Sholay’.

Expressing confidence in the prospects of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Hema Malini remarked that she believes the ruling coalition will surpass 400 seats. She emphasized the party’s target of achieving 370+ seats for the BJP and ‘400 paar’ for the NDA. Hema Malini underscored the government’s achievements under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, inviting the opposition to recognize the positive efforts and join in nation-building.
The Lok Sabha elections for 543 seats will be held in seven phases, commencing on April 19, with vote counting scheduled for June 4. Approximately 97 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes across 543 constituencies. The elections will be conducted at 10.5 lakh polling stations, managed by 1.5 crore polling officials and security personnel. Mathura will go to polls in the second phase on April 26.
