The visit comes in the wake of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in the newly built Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, which took place on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the rituals during the ceremony, marking a significant milestone in India’s cultural and religious landscape.

During the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, PM Modi underscored the significance of the event, describing it as a moment of triumph and humility for the Indian society. He emphasized that the construction of the temple symbolizes peace, patience, harmony, and integration.

Reflecting on the historic journey towards the construction of the Ram Mandir, PM Modi noted the transformative power of unity and determination in overcoming challenges. He highlighted how the temple, once a subject of controversy and apprehension, now stands as a beacon of hope and positivity, uniting people from diverse backgrounds.

“There was also a time when some people used to say ‘Ram Mandir bana toh aag lag jaegi’ (the making of the Ram Temple would set off a firestorm). Such people lacked an understanding of the purity of our society, the spirit that binds us all,” PM Modi remarked. He emphasized that the temple’s construction has not only dispelled fears but also generated a wave of positive energy, fostering peace and social unity.

Hema Malini’s visit to the Ram Mandir signifies the enduring cultural and spiritual significance of the temple, as well as its profound impact on the socio-economic fabric of the region, echoing the sentiments expressed by PM Modi during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
