Performing action sequences in movies is a challenging task for actors, demanding significant effort and dedication. Arjun Rampal, known for his upcoming role in the action thriller film ‘Crakk-Jeetega to Jiyegaa,’ underwent an intensive physical transformation and rigorous training regimen to prepare for his character.
Discussing his preparation process, Rampal revealed, “For this role, I had to focus on becoming lighter and enhancing my agility. I dedicated myself to daily swimming sessions in open waters to improve my cardiovascular endurance, supplemented by thrice-weekly 10K runs and a strict clean diet. Achieving the required physical shape involved making sacrifices and tipping the scale in my favor, which included a protein-rich diet with strict adherence to a vegetarian regimen thrice a week.”
He also shared the challenges faced during filming, including suffering from two slip discs, which halted production for two weeks to allow for recovery. “While shooting, I encountered two slip discs, necessitating a pause in production for my recuperation. It was essential to balance caution with strengthening exercises to deliver my best performance. Additionally, I kept Vidyut in mind, as he is incredibly well-built and committed to his craft,” Rampal added.
‘Crakk’ is a survival thriller directed by Aditya Datt, known for his work on films like ‘Aashiq Banaya Apne’ (2005) and ‘Table No. 21’ (2013). Rampal expressed gratitude for the positive response to the film’s trailer and hopes for a favorable reception from audiences upon its release.
‘Crakk: Jeetega to Jiyegaa’ is scheduled to hit theaters on February 23. The film follows the journey of a man from Mumbai’s slums into the world of extreme underground sports, marking the reunion of Vidyut and director Aditya Datt after ‘Commando 3.’ Presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Action Hero Films & PZ Pictures, with Vidyut Jammwal, Parag Sanghvi, and Action Hero Films & Team as producers, ‘Crakk’ promises an intense cinematic experience for viewers.
