A man named Ravi Handa shared a screenshot on social media, revealing multiple food outlets listed as Domino’s Pizza on Swiggy.
The concept of the ‘Multiverse’, popularized by Marvel Comics, unexpectedly found its way into the realm of a renowned pizza chain. Ravi Handa shared a screenshot displaying various outlets of Domino’s Pizza on Swiggy in his vicinity. However, the situation was not as straightforward as it seemed.
The problem arose when Ravi noticed that numerous listings under the Domino’s name on Swiggy were counterfeit. He posted screenshots depicting different stores with names resembling Domino’s but with slight alterations in spelling. These were local vendors attempting to mimic the legitimate pizza franchise. Ravi tagged Swiggy in his post, questioning why such fraudulent activities were permitted and why Domino’s had not taken any action against the trademark violation.
Ravi also disclosed that someone known to him had fallen victim to these fake listings, realizing the deception only after receiving their order in packaging that did not match the official Domino’s branding.
Swiggy promptly responded to Ravi’s post, requesting his pin code via direct message to conduct further investigation into the matter.
