Amid this, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal made her debut in the political arena with a passionate speech. She criticized the BJP-led central government for allegedly targeting the opposition ahead of the national election.

Addressing a large rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, attended by leaders from the Opposition INDIA bloc, including Rahul Gandhi, Uddhav Thackeray, Mehbooba Mufti, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Akhilesh Yadav, Sunita Kejriwal read out a message from her jailed husband.

“In her first major political speech in front of hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters, Sunita Kejriwal declared, ‘The people of India support Arvind Kejriwal. He cannot be imprisoned indefinitely.'”
“I am not soliciting votes from you. I am not urging you to defeat anyone in elections. I simply request all 140 crore Indians to contribute to the advancement of our country,” she added, quoting her husband’s message from prison.
