Lara Dutta offers a sneak peek of her upcoming program ‘Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond’

Actors Lara Dutta and Jimmy Shergill are set to feature in a fresh television series titled ‘Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond’. Lara recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the show.

The preview video offers viewers a peek into a narrative that delves into the complexities surrounding the Balakot operation, exploring lesser-known facets, strategies, and hurdles that influenced the course of events. Directed by Santosh Singh, the series boasts a stellar cast including Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Prasanna, and others.

Speaking about the significance of the show, Jimmy Shergill remarked, “Five years ago, on 14th February, our valiant soldiers in Pulwama made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. While we will always remember their bravery, witnessing our nation’s retaliatory action for the first time filled us with immense pride! The Balakot airstrike conveyed a resolute message borne out of our country’s resilience and the bravery of our armed forces. India stood firm, and this date will forever be etched in our nation’s memory – a day we shall never forget. Being part of this series has deepened my admiration for our soldiers as I revisited a pivotal moment in our country’s history.”

On the anniversary of the Balakot airstrikes conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Pakistan as a response to the Pulwama attack on February 14, Lara Dutta, coming from a military background herself, expressed, “Having grown up in a military environment, I comprehend firsthand the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. The heroes of Pulwama made the ultimate sacrifice five years ago, but the Balakot airstrike filled us with immense national pride. On the commemoration of this historic defense operation, this sneak peek aims to pay tribute to every soldier, whether in uniform or not, who reshaped our nation’s defense narrative.”
