In the latest development, a man was captured on camera, brutally stabbing a a girl with a knife in New Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area. The reason for stabbing was given that the girl was making fun of the accused said the police on Sunday (March 24).
The police informed that the accused was indentified as Aman (22) who is the resident of Mukherjee Nagar and workd as a cook for living in a paying guest accomodation.
The footage depicting the assault on March 22 has emerged on social media, quickly gaining widespread attention. Fortunately, the victim sustained minor injuries and is reported to be in a stable condition.
Authorities have identified the victim as a Jaffrabad resident who frequents a library for her studies.
During questioning, the perpetrator confessed to the police that he reacted violently after the victim mocked him, leading him to grab a knife from a nearby vegetable stall and carry out the attack.
The incident is currently under active investigation by law enforcement.
