PM Modi’s Last Adderess of 2023: Mann ki Baat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a significant address to the nation in the year’s final episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ marking the 108th episode of his flagship citizen engagement radio program. The PM touched upon various aspects, including the government’s Fit India movement, the recently concluded assembly elections in five states, the upcoming new year, and the recently passed three criminal code Bills.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on December 18, PM Modi had given a glimpse of the topics he would address, highlighting the importance of the Fit India movement. He encouraged citizens to actively participate and contribute to the initiative, promoting health and wellness across the nation. The Prime Minister also urged people to share their views on the NAMO app, emphasizing the government’s commitment to engaging with citizens.

The episode held additional significance as it marked the transition into an election year, with high-stakes contests expected in various states. PM Modi is anticipated to share insights into the government’s priorities and initiatives as the country gears up for a politically charged year.

During the 107th episode on November 26, PM Modi paid homage to those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, underscoring the importance of commemorating national tragedies. He also extended wishes to the nation on Constitution Day, urging citizens to prioritize local businesses by choosing to get married within the country—a move aligned with the Vocal for Local initiative.

As the nation bids farewell to 2023, PM Modi’s address in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ provided a platform for reflection on the year gone by and a glimpse into the government’s vision and priorities for the upcoming year. The interactive nature of the program allows citizens to connect directly with the Prime Minister, fostering a sense of collective engagement and participation in the country’s developmental journey.
