Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a 10-km roadshow in Ranchi, Jharkhand, starting at 10 pm. The grand procession, initiated with tight security measures following PM Modi’s arrival at Birsa Munda airport via a special aircraft, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of thousands of well-wishers lining both sides of the route to extend their greetings.
This event marks the commencement of PM Modi’s two-day visit to Jharkhand, coinciding with the eve of tribal icon Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary, which also aligns with Jharkhand’s statehood day on Wednesday. Ahead of the roadshow, traffic limitations were enforced along the route from the airport to Raj Bhavan, the path chosen by PM Modi, starting from 8 pm to 10.30 pm.
Furthermore, authorities declared the entire route, extending from the airport to Raj Bhavan and from the Governor’s House to Birsa Munda Old Jail, as a no-fly zone for drones. This restriction was in effect from 6 pm on Tuesday to 11 pm on Wednesday, as communicated by district administration officials.
