A massive fire broke out in an open stubble storage house built by a private company in Saiyanwala village in Punjab’s Firozpur late on Wednesday evening, officials said.
Fire erupted in an open stubble storage facility constructed by a private company in Saiyanwala village, Firozpur, Punjab, as per officials. Images from the scene depicted heaps of paddy straw from numerous acres of farmland being consumed by the flames.
Upon receiving the report, fire teams from nearby towns rushed to the location and initiated efforts to manage the blaze. Fire Officer Prabhdeep Singh stated that the cause of the fire, which began in the evening, is currently unknown.
The officer added that multiple fire brigades are laboring to contain the fire, which has spread across a wide area due to the accumulation of stubble from numerous acres of agricultural land.
The situation is currently being addressed, with further information awaited.
