The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled the candidates’ roster for the biennial elections to the Vidhan Parishad from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
The party has put forward Dr. Pradeep Verma from Jharkhand as its nominee for the Rajya Sabha biennial elections.
In Bihar, the BJP has nominated Mangal Pandey, Dr. Lal Mohan Gupta, and Anamika Singh for the Vidhan Parishad.
From Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has nominated Vijay Bahadur Pathak, Dr. Mahendra Kumar Singh, Ashok Katariya, Mohit Beniwal, Dharmendra Singh, Ramtirath Singhal, and Santosh Singh.
The terms of 13 MLCs in UP are set to conclude on May 5. BJP, along with its allies, can secure 10 MLC seats, while SP may secure three.
