OnePlus is set to unveil its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 4, in India on April 1 at 6:30 pm IST. The announcement follows the earlier release of OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G in June last year. The company has teased the new model on various platforms, including social media channels and Amazon’s e-commerce website.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4, like its predecessor, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, specifically the 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Ahead of the official launch, dedicated microsites on both the OnePlus India website and Amazon India are providing sneak peeks into the design and key specifications of the device. Interested consumers can choose to click the “Notify Me” button on these websites to receive the latest updates about the launch.
The upcoming smartphone is anticipated to be available in at least two color options: black and green. The teaser images reveal a dual-rear camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash. Additionally, the top frame is shown to house a microphone and an IR blaster.
According to leaks, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. On the rear, it is expected to boast a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor, while the front camera might be a 16-megapixel shooter.
The predecessor, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, is currently priced at Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset. The smartphone houses a triple-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary camera and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 80W SuperVOOC charging.
