PM Modi At Iconic Shivaji Park, Says, ‘Mumbai Doesn’t Just Dream, It Lives Its Dreams’

Four phases of elections have concluded, bringing us closer to the culmination of the world’s largest democratic exercise. Leaders from diverse backgrounds and political affiliations across India are putting their all into rallying public sentiment through speeches and rallies. The elections in India showcase a complex and diverse tapestry of political dynamics that engages the electorate and the leaders alike.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address an NDA campaign rally at Mumbai’s iconic Shivaji Park on Friday. Meanwhile, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi is currently campaigning in Rae Bareli. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the party will construct a grand temple dedicated to the goddess Sita in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district.

Before his final poll rally in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Chaitya Bhoomi, the memorial of Dr. BR Ambedkar, at Dadar in Mumbai. He also pays his respects to V.D. Savarkar at the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Smarak in Mumbai.

The speech commenced on a high note as the Prime Minister addressed the public at the rally. He reiterated that Mumbai doesn’t just dream; it lives its dreams. He added further, “Mumbai never disappoints those who have the determination to achieve something in life.”

In his address, the Prime Minister elaborated on the vision for 2047, emphasizing the pivotal role Mumbai must play in achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat. The Prime Minister said, “Since you entrusted me with the responsibility to lead our nation, India has emerged as the world’s fifth-largest economic powerhouse.” He further elucidated the record investment opportunities that have accumulated during his tenure, both in Mumbai and across India.

The Prime Minister also elaborated on the potent counter-terrorism initiatives that have been undertaken over the past decade, reiterating their success during his tenure, as no major threats have developed.

During his speech the PM also spoke on poverty alleviation in India and said, “Over the past decade, we have lifted at least 25 crore people out of poverty.”

The conclusion of the recent general election’s voting process in 23 States and Union Territories signifies a major milestone. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign rally at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, focusing on Mumbai’s pivotal role in India’s future, highlights the city’s significance. His address outlined accomplishments in economic growth, counter-terrorism efforts, and poverty alleviation, demonstrating the government’s commitment to development.
