PM Modi has made a change to his social media platform ‘X’ by replacing the cover image with a picture of the Nataraja statue located at the Bharat Mandapam, the venue for the upcoming G20 summit in the national capital.
The G20 Summit, eagerly awaited and featuring top world leaders, including US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, is scheduled to take place at the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), also known as Bharat Mandapam, in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan on September 9 and 10. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this complex on July 26 of this year.
Previously, the Prime Minister had a picture of himself in front of Parliament as his cover image on social media.
It’s noteworthy that the national capital has begun welcoming foreign delegates and leaders from around the world for the G20 Summit. As the host nation, the Centre has made special arrangements to ensure a memorable experience for foreign dignitaries during their stay in India.
The G20 Summit, hosted under India’s Presidency in New Delhi, will witness the participation of top global leaders. The G20, consisting of 19 countries and the European Union, includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States.
During the summit, the national capital will be graced by the presence of leaders such as US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others.
In preparation for the event, the authorities have adorned roads, footpaths, roundabouts, markets, flyovers, and public spaces with over 1 lakh potted plants.
