PM Modi in Mahabubabad: ”Congress and KCR are equal sinners in destroying Telangana”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party and the ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) during a public rally in Mahabubabad, Telangana, ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Accusing both parties of neglecting the interests of Telangana, PM Modi emphasized the BJP’s commitment to empowering the state and winning the electorate’s trust.

Addressing the crowd, PM Modi asserted that both the Congress and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) had failed Telangana, calling them “equal sinners in destroying Telangana.” He expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory in the state and assured that the Chief Minister from the party would be from the Backward Class (BC) community.

Highlighting alleged similarities between the Congress and BRS, PM Modi accused both parties of religious appeasement, corruption, and dynasty politics. He claimed that only the BJP could bring positive change to Telangana and criticized the law and order situation under their governance.

PM Modi promised a thorough investigation into scams under the BRS government once the BJP assumes power in Telangana. He rallied support, stating, “The people of Telangana are gearing up to overthrow the KCR government. Telangana is going to create a New History!” The Prime Minister pledged to free Telangana from what he referred to as the clutches of BRS.

Accusing CM KCR of labeling the state as ‘superstitious,’ PM Modi asserted that Telangana identifies with tradition and technology. He revealed that KCR had sought an alliance with the BJP earlier, but the party declined, leading to ongoing criticism from the TRS.

PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president JP Nadda are actively engaging in public rallies and roadshows in Telangana to woo voters ahead of the November 30 elections. As the campaigning intensifies, all major political parties, including Congress, BJP, and BRS, are making their final appeals to the electorate. In the previous 2018 Assembly elections, BRS secured a significant victory, winning 88 out of 119 seats, while the Congress trailed with only 19 seats, and the BJP failed to secure any.
