During his address at Adilabad in Telangana on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition coalition, INDIA bloc, accusing its leaders of corruption and nepotism. Asserting that his life is an open book, PM Modi declared that all 140 crore citizens of India are his family, dismissing claims by the opposition regarding his familial connections.
“The leaders of the INDIA alliance, deeply immersed in corruption, nepotism, and appeasement, are growing anxious. When I question their ‘Parivarvad’ (nepotism), they resort to saying that Modi has no family,” stated the Prime Minister.
Addressing a large gathering, PM Modi reaffirmed his commitment to serving the nation, stating, “I live with the sentiment ‘Mera Bharat, Mera Parivaar’ (My India, My Family). I am living for you, fighting for you, and will continue to fight for you, to fulfill your dreams with determination.”
Highlighting the developmental initiatives undertaken by his government over the past decade, PM Modi emphasized the significance of ongoing projects aimed at nation-building. He particularly criticized those who label such initiatives as mere electoral strategies, asserting that the recent inauguration of several projects across various sectors reflects the government’s dedication to progress.
“In the last 15 days alone, we have inaugurated 2 IITs, 1 IIIT, 3 IIMs, 1 IIS, and 5 AIIMS. Additionally, the world’s largest storage scheme for farmers, computerization of 18,000 cooperatives, over 2000 railway projects, and projects worth over 1.5 lakh crore for the oil and gas sector have been dedicated to the country,” the Prime Minister declared.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth more than Rs 56,000 crore in Telangana’s Adilabad. These projects, spanning the power, rail, and road sectors, are poised to significantly contribute to the region’s socio-economic development.
Accompanied by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, State BJP chief and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan, PM Modi expressed optimism about the transformative impact of these projects on Telangana’s growth trajectory.
“Today, the land of Adilabad is witnessing a multitude of development initiatives, not only for Telangana but for the entire country. These projects worth more than Rs 56,000 crore will script a new chapter of development in many states, including Telangana,” remarked the Prime Minister.
Among the key inaugurations were the NTPC’s 800 MW (Unit-2) of Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli, Telangana, and the dedication of 660 MW (Unit-2) of North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Chatra, Jharkhand. Additionally, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for several critical infrastructure projects aimed at bolstering connectivity and energy production across various states.
The event witnessed the inauguration of national highways, electrification of rail lines, and the launch of renewable energy projects, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable development.
