Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted the critical role of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in shaping Telangana’s future during a rally in Karimnagar on Monday. Confident in the BJP’s success in the upcoming assembly elections, PM Modi declared that the Chief Minister in Telangana would be from the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Addressing the crowd, PM Modi emphasized the BJP’s commitment to national and state development, making it the party’s utmost priority. He resonated with the echoing sentiment of “Telangana Me Pehli Baar, Aa Rahi Hai BJP Sarkaar” (For the first time, Telangana is going to form the BJP Government). The Prime Minister reaffirmed the BJP’s promise of appointing the first CM from the BC community.
Looking ahead, PM Modi stressed the significance of the next five years for Telangana’s development, particularly as the state turns ten. He highlighted the critical nature of this period, expressing the need for responsible governance to propel Telangana to the forefront of the country.
“We can’t experiment anymore, we can’t make any mistakes. We can’t leave Telangana on its fate. Now, we have to build the Telangana of our dreams. For this, Telangana needs the BJP,” PM Modi stated.
Closing his speech, PM Modi underscored the BJP’s commitment to social justice, urging voters to support the party for the rights of the Madigas and the overall development and prosperity of Telangana. The Prime Minister, along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda, is actively participating in public rallies and roadshows to secure voter support.
As the state gears up for the assembly elections on November 30, major political parties, including Congress, BJP, and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), are intensifying their campaign efforts. In the previous 2018 Assembly elections, BRS secured a significant victory with 88 out of 119 seats, while the Congress secured 19 seats, and the BJP did not win any.
