PM Modi Expresses Gratitude for the Success of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a virtual interaction with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Wednesday. Thousands of beneficiaries from various parts of the country participated, alongside Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local representatives. PM Modi expressed gratitude to the people, especially women, for the success of the program aimed at achieving saturation of central government flagship schemes.

He mentioned that the Viksit Bharat Yatra, which began around 50 days ago, has already reached lakhs of villages, connecting people in remote areas. During the Yatra, 4.5 lakh new applications for the Ujjwala Gas connection were received, and over one crore Ayushman cards were distributed. Health check-ups for approximately 1.25 crore people were conducted.

PM Modi highlighted the significance of the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) cards, which serve as unique identifiers in the health ecosystem. These cards maintain records of medical reports, prescriptions, blood group information, and other details.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiated on November 15, involves regular interactions between the Prime Minister and beneficiaries through video conferencing. Physical interactions have also taken place during PM Modi’s visit to Varanasi on December 17-18. The Yatra aims to achieve saturation of government flagship schemes, ensuring timely benefits for all targeted beneficiaries.
