Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed warm birthday greetings to Sharad Pawar, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday. Using the social media platform ‘X,’ PM Modi expressed his best wishes for Sharad Pawar’s well-being and longevity.

Sharad Pawar, a prominent figure in Indian politics, founded the NCP in 1999. His political journey includes becoming the youngest Chief Minister of Maharashtra at 38 in 1978 and subsequently serving four terms in that role. Pawar has held key ministerial positions, including Defence and Agriculture, showcasing his significant contributions to national governance.
