PM Modi Invites Students to G20 University Connect Finale on 26th Sept

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended an invitation to university students and young professionals interested in furthering their education to participate in the G20 University Connect Finale program.

Scheduled to occur at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre on September 26, the G20 University Connect Finale marks the culmination of a year-long initiative that brought together India’s youth, known as Yuva Shakti, under the G20 University Connect program.

PM Modi expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of this initiative, which showcased how India’s youth have become dynamic cultural ambassadors, forging enduring ties with the G20 community via his social media platform.

PM Modi stated, “I am delighted to invite you all, especially the university students and young professionals who are eager to pursue further education, to a very special program on Tuesday, September 26. On that day, the G20 University Connect Finale will take place at the iconic Bharat Mandapam—the same venue where esteemed world leaders recently gathered for the G20 Summit.”

He emphasized that the G20 University Connect initiative provided young individuals with an opportunity to learn more about India’s G20 Presidency, the key issues addressed during this tenure, foster a sense of global community, and prepare to be active contributors to the development of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by 2047.

The G20 University Connect initiative included a wide array of programs conducted across India, with substantial participation from higher education institutions. What initially started as a program targeting universities soon expanded to include schools and colleges, engaging an even broader audience.

One notable event within this initiative was the “Model G20 Meeting,” where students from 12 different nations, including 10 G20 countries, convened to discuss the theme “Youth for LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment).”

Prime Minister Modi expressed his excitement about hearing the experiences of India’s Yuva Shakti during the unique G20 University Connect program and learning from their enriching journey. He urged all young individuals to participate in this distinctive endeavor, which promises to ignite inspiration among the youth of the nation.
